Same story here. After I decided to start writing, it took me months to publish my first post, and then I stopped. It took me yet another year to start over on Substack. Now I'm on a 9-month strike.

I had a similar approach by asking my wife and a good friend to keep me accountable.

That’s the story of my writing journey. Beginning, stopping, coming back to stop again. I still haven’t find the right trigger to keep me in the loop. I tried the public announcement but the truth is nobody comes to say « hey ! I didn’t receive your newsletter today as planned ». Well a few close friends did. I explained why and they were understanding and compassionate. Willpower is a brain sport hard to master (for me). However congrats for starting and holding onto your promise.

Thanks for your thoughts. yes you are true that I have not mentioned. For this I will reccommend to interact with people. Probably if you talk with 2-3 people each day and talk about wriitng you will feel motivated.

I am sure that you will get your right path very soon and I will read some very good writing from you.
